Why Brightwood?

Real-World Training

We keep education relevant by employing instructors with real-world experience in the field, who bring their career backgrounds to the classroom. Our programs are continually assessed by faculty, staff and members of the business and education communities to help ensure your studies align with your career goals. Programs offered by Brightwood College focus on local employment needs, in areas such as allied health, nursing and technical and professional programs.

This type of environment is so personal. When you come here, you really feel like the staff cares about you. I couldn’t imagine going to a large school with stadium seating and online tests ever again.

Professional Skill Building

Within the classroom, it is our mission not only to provide vocational training, but also to help you develop the professional skills, values, attitudes and strategies that will enhance your potential for success on campus, in your career and through life.

The success of our students is our greatest success. Because when our students succeed, we’ve completed the job we set out to do: empower the courageous, and enable real and relevant change.

I love being here. The teachers are amazing and they make you feel confident in yourself so that you can succeed. For me, hands-on is perfect. If I didn’t have the hands-on experience, things would be a little bit confusing because I do better when I’m looking at something.

At first, I was scared and timid, but now I am more confident. They’re willing to help you. They’re willing to stay after class. They prepare us and set us up for success.
