A: A career as an electrical technician is one that varies day to day and allows you to work with your mind and with your hands. Electrical technicians can be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

  • Troubleshooting

  • Maintaining large equipment for factories

  • Home electrical installation

  • Using power tools

  • Using measuring and diagnostic devices
