In the health and medical field, professionals may find themselves in situations where they need to respond quickly and accurately. The Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification course at is a 2-day program intended to train health care professionals to respond to, recognize, and treat cardiac emergencies. This course is designed for students seeking American Heart Association certification.†
At Brightwood College, our ACLS course includes hands-on instruction in the following:
Upon successful completion of the advanced cardiac life support course, graduates will be awarded a certificate from the American Heart Association that is good for a 2-year period. Graduates will also receive a certificate of completion from Brightwood College. The Advanced Cardiac Life Support course is graded on a pass/fail basis.

Note: This is a non-credit-bearing course. Students must not assume that this course will be accepted for transfer credit at another institution. This course does not qualify for Title IV federal financial aid funds.
