El Paso Campus Facilities

At Brightwood College, El Paso campus, we aim to make your learning environment comfortable and easy to access. The school occupies a 20,000-square-foot building built specifically for use by Brightwood College. In addition to spacious classrooms and administrative offices, it offers a student lounge, faculty lounge, reception area, and a learning resource center with numerous periodicals, texts, reference materials, and videos.

Some of our classes are taught at our nearby facility located at 1231 Lee Trevino Boulevard. This facility offers 10,000 square feet of classrooms, training labs, offices, a reception area, and a student lounge.

Computer Training

Our computer labs are equipped with computer hardware and software relevant to our career-focused training programs, including some of today's most common word processing, spreadsheet, database management, presentation, and desktop publishing programs.

Electrical Technician Training

Our electrical technician training program utilizes a stick house with metal- and wood-framed walls and a wood-framed ceiling. Three variations of electrical boards consisting of various types of cable, conduit, wire, lamp holds, receptacles, circuit breakers, nuts, staples, straps, and screws are used to simulate job sites. Various types of boxes, connectors, plugs, float switches, fuses and fuse holders, mounting channels, terminal jumpers and wires, porcelain light fixtures, single switches, 3- and 4-way switches, duplex receptacles, and incandescent lamps are also available so you can practice and master the skills required for a career as an electrical technician.

Health Care Training

The following training labs allow you to gain hands-on experience with equipment and supplies commonly used in today's health care environments:

  • Our dental assistant training lab is equipped with a dark room, an x-ray area, autoclaves, lab sinks, worktables, dental instruments, radiology equipment, and other equipment found in a dental office.
  • For students enrolled in our medical assistant program, our labs are designed to simulate real-world health care settings, with examination tables, minor surgical instruments, autoclaves, lab testing machines and equipment, lab sinks, phlebotomy equipment, EKG machines, exam areas, and CPR training equipment.
