Las Vegas Campus Facilities

At Brightwood College, Las Vegas campus you can experience a learning environment with lecture classrooms; computer laboratory classrooms; medical assistant, pharmacy, radiology, and nursing laboratories; a student lounge; reception area; and administrative offices. Our library and resource center has numerous periodicals, texts, reference materials, videos, and computers with Internet access during both daytime and evening hours.

Program Equipment

Brightwood College strives to uphold high educational standards. To help accomplish this goal, industry-related technology and equipment is utilized in each specialized program. This provides you the opportunity to develop practical, working knowledge of the equipment and materials you might encounter on the job, along with the professional edge necessary in today's competitive marketplace.

  • Our administrative courses allow students to work with a variety of equipment including computers, CD-ROMs, transcription machines, overhead projectors, and other media sources.
  • Students in the medical clinical courses utilize equipment such as an electrocardiograph, autoclaves, centrifuges, and other industry-related technology found in a medical setting.
  • Pharmacy technician students utilize balances and weights, graduated cylinders, counting trays, a laminar flow hood, mortars and pestles, computers, and other items associated with the pharmacy technician field.
  • Our health information technology program provides computers, printers, and Virtual Lab software. Software includes a variety of HIM software applications, including ATHENS/Cerner PowerChart and Him ProFile, QuadraMed MPI Suite, and more industry software.
  • Our practical nursing program utilizes nursing skills labs that simulate a hospital-style patient care unit. This includes hospital type beds, simulation mannequins (such as infant, child, adult, and birthing simulators), medical charts, medication charts, vital sign equipment, naso-gastric feeding and IV pumps, and more.
  • Additional essential equipment includes computers, Internet connections, overhead projectors, and a variety of computer software.
