McAllen Campus Facilities

Brightwood College is located at 1500 South Jackson Road in McAllen, Texas. The building houses 29,611 square feet of classroom space for program instruction, business offices, a student lounge, and a reception area. The College's medicaldental, and skilled trade programs have classroom facilities and a learning resource center. The programs are taught in classrooms and labs equipped with program-specific technology.

The learning resource center has numerous periodicals, texts, reference materials, videos, and computers with Internet access available to students during the daytime and evening.


In keeping with the high educational standards of Brightwood College, the equipment utilized in each program offers students the opportunity to develop a practical, working knowledge of the equipment and materials they may encounter on the job.

  • Our administrative courses utilize equipment including computers, overhead projectors, and other media sources.
  • The dental lab for the Dental Assistant Diploma program is equipped with complete dental operations, including, an x-ray area, film developing areas, autoclaves, laboratory sinks, worktables, and dental instruments.
  • Our medical training labs provide students with examination tables, minor surgical instruments, and laboratory testing machines and equipment. In addition, they are equipped with lab sinks, phlebotomy equipment, EKG machines, exam areas, and CPR training equipment.
  • The electrical technician program has a stick-house, a wooden shell resembling the infrastructure of a building where the electrical wiring would take place.

Also located on campus are the Financial Aid, Student Accounts, and Admissions departments.
