Brightwood College’s Nashville campus was established in 1981 in response to the growing need for quality paralegal educational programs. Since 1981, the campus has significantly grown its program offerings to meet the changing needs of the local student population. Originally founded as Southeastern Paralegal Institute, the Institute changed its name to Southeastern Career College in January 2002. In June 2007, Southeastern Career College in Nashville, Tennessee, became Kaplan Career Institute and in July 2014, the Nashville campus became Kaplan College to better reflect the quality of programs we offer to the community as a college.
