Campus Location

The Brightwood College Palm Springs campus lies on the western edge of the Coachella Valley in central Riverside County approximately 107 miles east of Los Angeles. It is within the ecological area known as the Colorado Desert and is 487 feet above sea level. Palm Springs covers a geographical area of 96 square miles with well-established neighborhoods.

The city boasts many parks and recreational facilities including a golf course, tennis courts, and a baseball stadium. If you enjoy an active lifestyle, there are many options including hiking trails, biking routes, a water park, and horseback riding. If you're looking for cultural activities, the city offers a library and museums.

History of Brightwood College in Palm Springs

Brightwood College, Palm Springs campus, formerly Maric College and then Kaplan College, was founded in the fall of 2004 as a branch of Maric College in Vista, California. In August 2008, the school's name changed to Kaplan College. In February 2016, it became Brightwood College.
